Budget: CAD $55,000–$80,000/year, depending on experience and qualifications

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Replace or repair damaged components, engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other mechanical parts.
- Perform oil changes, lubrication, adjustments, and equipment servicing.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, service documents, and mechanical diagrams.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets required operating standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts, and maintenance activities.
- Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and workshop machinery safely.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete repair and maintenance work efficiently.
- Follow Canadian workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in Mechanics or a related field is preferred.
- 2–5+ years of relevant mechanical experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Experience using mechanical and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and service documentation.
- Good problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's licence may be required depending on the position.
- Red Seal certification or provincial trade certification is an asset for applicable mechanic positions.
- Ability to work safely in a workshop, industrial, construction, or field environment.
