HR Generalist

Salary: 60-65K

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support full-cycle human resources activities, including recruitment, employee records management, payroll coordination, and HR compliance.

• Support full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, and interview coordination.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and personnel files.
• Coordinate with Payroll on compensation, absences, and employee data updates.
• Ensure HR policies and practices comply with ESA, OHRC, and applicable legislation.
• Assist with onboarding and employee orientation sessions.
• Support HR programs, reporting, and administrative processes.
• Provide general HR support to managers and assist with special projects as needed.

• Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role (union experience is an asset).
• Strong knowledge of ESA, OHRC, and other employment legislation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (JD Edwards an asset).
• CHRP/CHRL designation or in progress is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills.
