Responsibilities

+ Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders and receiving documentation, and accurately record transactions

+ Review and process employee expense reports

+ Coordinate monthly credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

+ Manage fixed assets including additions, disposals, depreciation, and annual physical counts

+ Maintain Construction-in-Progress (CIP) accounts and project documentation

+ Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations (AP, fixed assets, and related accounts)

+ Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities

+ Support quarter-end and year-end audits by preparing documentation and working with external auditors

+ Assist with compliance reporting including sales tax and corporate tax filings

+ Perform additional accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

+ 2+ years of accounting experience

+ Strong understanding of GAAP principles

+

Experience with accounts payable, general ledger reconciliations, and fixed assets

+ Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

+ Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least two years of relevant work experience.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, along with familiarity with accounting software.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules when necessary.

- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.

- Analytical abilities to solve complex accounting issues and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

- Knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and general ledger systems.

- Experience with accounts payable processes and fixed asset accounting.
