Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Torrance, California. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations by accurately processing transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is perfect for individuals eager to build their career in accounting while contributing to the smooth functioning of daily financial activities.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payment to vendors.

- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and monitoring payments.

- Utilize Quick Books to maintain financial records and reconcile accounts.

- Enter data accurately into accounting systems and databases.

- Handle invoice processing with precision and attention to detail.

- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review.

- Support the team in maintaining compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.

- Perform routine administrative tasks related to accounting functions.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation. Requirements - Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in using Quick Books for accounting tasks.

- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.

- Experience in processing invoices accurately and efficiently.

- Knowledge of accounting systems such as Navision is a plus.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
