A Construction company seeks Payroll Accountant (Job Costing)

Medical, dental, vision company pays 80%

80 hours PTO and 80 hours sick time

401k eligible after 1 year

What You'll Be Doing:

• Process full cycle weekly payroll in house including calculating hours, deductions, overtime and adjustments
• Oversee job costing and cost code analysis, ensuring all labor costs are accurately allocated and reported.
• Maintain and manage cost codes
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage and union regulations.
• Conduct regular reconciliation of payroll
• Manage workers' compensation and garnishments.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of payroll and job costing processes.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual payroll and job costing reports.
• Collaborate directly with the Controller on reporting and accuracy

What You Need:

• 4+ years of hands on payroll processing experience
• Job costing and cost codes experience (construction industry)
• Experience with time card processing — both manual and electronic
• Local to the South Bay area, this is fully onsite 5 days a week
