Overview

Growing retail company is adding a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support increased transaction volume and operational expansion. This role will ensure accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, and clean reporting as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and vendor relations.

+ Process invoices, payments, and deposits with a high degree of accuracy

+ Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly

+ Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation

+ Assist with month-end close activities and basic financial reporting

+ Support payroll preparation and sales tax reporting as needed

+ Partner with ownership/management to improve processes as volume increases

Qualifications

+ 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience (retail or high-volume environments preferred)

+ Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger

+

Experience with Quick Books

+ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently in a growing, fast-paced environment

Doran

Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

- Demonstrated experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proven ability to perform bank reconciliations with attention to detail.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.

- High level of accuracy and consistency in financial data management.

- Knowledge of financial reporting and statement preparation is a plus.
