Hands-on Accounting Supervisor to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for executing and controlling core accounting transactions, including AP, ACH payments, and cash activity, while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and month-end close.
Responsibilities- Own the general ledger
- Execute and manage month-end close
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclasses
- Perform and complete bank & credit card reconciliations
- Execute accounts payable processing, including Invoice review, coding, and entry ACH and check payments
- Manage cash activity
- Ensure accurate revenue
- Monitor and resolve aging, discrepancies, and coding
- Maintain tight controls over cash disbursements flows
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced Quick Books
- Proven experience owning the general ledger, running month-end close, executing full life cycle AP, Handling cash, ACH, and bank transactions, and Performing reconciliations
- Strong understanding of internal controls
