We are partnering with a growing organization in the Torrance, CA area seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team. This opportunity is available due to a recent resignation and offers strong potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience processing high-volume payrolls, managing multi-state payroll tax compliance, and utilizing Ceridian Dayforce in a fast-paced environment.

• Process payroll for approximately 400–500 employees accurately and on time
• Manage both weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Handle multi-state payroll processing and tax reporting requirements
• Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain employee payroll records and documentation
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management
• Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment
• Multi-state payroll and payroll tax experience is required
• Hands‑on experience with Ceridian Dayforce is required
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work onsite full‑time in the Torrance, CA area
