International Tax Manager – Bilingual Japanese

Schedule: Full-time, hybrid (a few days in-office, a few days remote)

A well-established, highly profitable regional CPA firm specializing in international tax services is seeking an International Tax Manager to join its growing team. This role offers the chance to collaborate directly with partners on sophisticated, high-level tax engagements in a professional and collegial environment.

• Prepare international tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, bankruptcy matters, and trusts and estates
• Handle complex accounting and tax issues
• Conduct basic and complex tax research
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration
• 5+ years’ tax experience
• CPA license
• Must have international tax experience and bilingual Japanese language skills
• Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Self-directed, entrepreneurial work ethic
• Ability to comprehend complex tax and accounting issues and meet deadlines
• Demonstrates advanced competency in technical skills and work quality
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, permanently and at any point in the future

• Public accounting firm experience preferred
