Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations in Torrance, California. This position is well suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a high volume of transactional work with accuracy. The role will contribute to both payables and receivables activities while maintaining reliable financial records and timely documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor bills and customer payments with close attention to accuracy, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Enter financial information into accounting systems and maintain complete, up-to-date transaction records.
• Assist with accounts payable tasks by reviewing invoices, preparing payments, and resolving routine discrepancies.
• Support accounts receivable activities by issuing invoices, tracking incoming payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Use Quick Books and related accounting tools to update ledgers, verify entries, and organize financial data.
• Review invoice processing workflows to ensure timely handling and proper filing of accounting documents.
• Help reconcile account details by comparing records, identifying variances, and escalating issues when needed.
• Provide general clerical support to the accounting function, including data maintenance and document organization.
