Overview

Rapiscan Systems, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products range from hand held metal detectors to Real Time Tomography used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for people, weapons, explosives, drugs, money, and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities.

We are looking for a Receptionist to provide administrative support to Facilities and serve as the first point of contact at the site. Role requires a high level of customer service and includes handling security verification, greeting customers & visitors, initial site vendor interface, submitting supply requests, and maintaining Budget, training records, and PM/work order tracking.

Responsibilities
  • Perform receptionist & administrative tasks in support of Facilities, including:
    • Greeting, properly signing‑in, and assigning the correct badge to our visitors, vendors, guests, and customers as to strictly adhere to the Security Policy and Procedures.
    • Maintaining a neat and tidy appearance of lobby & work area.
    • Support facilities team to maintain and reorder cafeteria, coffee station, and janitorial supplies as needed.
    • Maintain site PM/Work Order records including status tracking.
    • Issue PO requirements and coordinate service requests to vendors.
    • Support company executive team, events, and meetings.
  • Maintains high efficiency and quality in job functions performed. Completes all work in clear, concise, and timely manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain meticulous records.
  • Communicates and keeps immediate supervisor and/or other management staff informed of status of current projects, tasks, problems, important issues, etc.

  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year’s experience in a receptionist support position with excellent etiquette and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficient in using Office (Word and Excel).
  • Must be able to multi‑task, work with minimal supervision, and work well with others to ensure success with routine communications.
  • Willing to be trained on D365 for Purchase Orders processing and support to control facilities budget.
Benefits and Compensation

Pay may range from $22.00 to $24.00 hourly.

Base salary is one component of your total rewards package.
