Administrative / Accounting Support Specialist
Location:Torrance area, California
Salary:
Approximately $70,000–$75,000/year, depending on experience
Working Hours:Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
A Japanese manufacturing company is seeking an Administrative / Accounting Support Specialist to support a wide range of sales administration, general affairs, and back-office operations. This is a newly created position designed to strengthen the company’s administrative structure and support smooth day-to-day operations in the U.S. office.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for the sales team, including preparing quotations, entering order information, and managing related documents
- Organize, maintain, and process various internal and external documents
- Support general office administration, including communication with vendors, building management, and other external parties
- Handle phone calls, email correspondence, and visitor support as needed
- Assist with invoice management and basic accounting-related administrative tasks
- Collect and organize accounting-related information for internal reporting purposes
- Support administrative coordination between the U.S. office and the parent company in Japan
- Assist with HR-related administrative tasks as needed
- Perform other general office and back-office duties as assigned
- Japanese language skills required, including reading and writing
- Business-level English communication skills
- Administrative, sales support, general affairs, or back-office experience preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge or experience with invoice/accounting-related paperwork is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle documents accurately
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and support a wide range of office functions
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday
- Prior experience working in a Japanese company or multicultural office environment is a plus
