Job Description

Responsible for maintaining all current and past floor plans, organizing and maintaining all construction project documentation for all AHM facilities, as well as R&D facilities. This includes all CAD files and physical historical construction documentation. In addition, this position will work with the Interior Move team to layout work spaces for workspace planning, provide CAD support to all Facilities Planning, Facility Services Project Managers and Facility Service Administrators (FSAs), as needed.

Pay: $36.42/hour. The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain current and historical facility floor plans, drawings, and space utilization records for multiple facilities and campuses.
  • Manage and organize facility construction documentation, including architectural drawings, project records, permits, closeout documents, and historical construction files.
  • Maintain both electronic and physical records of facility and construction-related documentation.
  • Ensure all CAD files are accurate, updated, properly archived, and compliant with established drawing standards.
  • Provide CAD drafting and design support for facility planning, renovations, office reconfigurations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with Interior Move teams to develop workspace layouts, seating plans, and space allocation solutions that support business needs.
  • Produce and update space planning drawings, occupancy plans, and workplace utilization reports.
  • Support Facilities Planning and Facility Services teams with project documentation, design revisions, and drawing updates.
  • Assist Project Managers and Facility Service Administrators with planning activities, project coordination, and documentation management.
  • Conduct field verification of facility layouts and update drawings to reflect existing conditions.
  • Generate reports, metrics, and records related to space utilization, floor plan updates, and construction project documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders to gather and maintain accurate facility information.
  • Support facility renovation, relocation, and workspace improvement projects through planning and documentation activities.
  • Assist with maintaining facility standards, drawing conventions, and document control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, facility standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve space utilization, record management, and facility planning processes.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, Preferred to have an Associate degree in Architecture, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities planning, space planning, CAD drafting, construction administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and related CAD software.
  • Experience maintaining facility drawings, floor plans, and construction documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of document control and records management practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
