Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Body Repair II will perform the removal, repair, and replacement of a variety of motor coach components. Primary responsibility is body repair, with additional duties including Mechanic III level functions.
Key Responsibilities- Removal, repair and replacement of all body and frame components (including all riveted, spot-welded and perimeter-welded parts, panels, frame members and bulkheads).
- Removal, repair, and replacement of lights, doors (entry, luggage, and compartments). Windows and window glass, moldings, upholstery, and body accessories.
- Pre-delivery inspection of new and pre-owned coaches.
- Assist Mechanic I and II.
- General lubrication functions including engine oil/filter changes, air filter changes, chassis lubrication.
- Transmission fluid and filter changes, differential fluid checks, axle/wheel inspection, removal, and replacement of brake components lubrication.
- Parts disassembly and cleaning.
