B Technician

A technician capable of diagnosing and repairing most systems of the automobile, with little guidance or support from an A-Tech, Shop Foreman, or Team Leader. Efficient and effective at on the job learning to apply to new vehicles and technology when concerns arise. Improved diagnostic skills through training & experience and competent in complex mechanical repairs.

High School

1-3 years

• Professional attitude and work ethic
• Ability to communicate with Service Advisor to ensure customers are advised of additional service work needed
• Perform work specified with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and maintain Customer Satisfaction Scores
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary is negotiable.

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
