About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Inventory, Returns & Maintenance Specialist to manage day-to-day inventory operations, oversee product returns, and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facility. This unique hybrid role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking ownership of varied responsibilities across inventory control, customer service, and building upkeep.

The Facilities coordinator will work closely with various departments providing a safe, organized work environment for employees and guests.

Key responsibilities include:

Returns:

  • Process returned merchandise from customers in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate restocking or disposal of returned products.
  • Communicate with customer service and warehouse teams to resolve return issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of returns for reporting and analysis.
  • Inspect returned items for damage, defects, or missing parts.

Building Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as light repairs, painting and equipment upkeep.
  • Monitor building systems (lighting, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and report issues requiring professional repair to Ops manager.
  • Ensure all work spaces, restrooms, and common areas are clean, safe, and functional.
  • Restock facility supplies (cleaning products, maintenance tools, etc.).
  • Assist with office or facility rearrangement and improvement projects.
  • Label and store incoming inventory accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
  • Organized, detailed, proactive, and disciplined.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable adapting to seasonal facility and/or team needs.
  • Collaborative approach to prioritizing short and long-term projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related role.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving supplies.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Basic maintenance skills for daily equipment checks and minor repairs.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a facility environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and work staggered hours to support improvements and repairs outside of normal business hours.
  • Valid Driver's License.
