Shift supervisor, Business

Full‑time Shift Supervisor position at Harbor UCLA Medical Center located at 1000 West Carson Street, Torrance, CA 90502. Applications accepted online only.

Schedule:

1:00 pm – 9:00 pm, days may vary; rotating weekends are included.

Pay: $25.15 per hour.

Direct the activities of associates during a shift, ensuring completion of job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure.

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and discipline underperforming employees.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
• Act as the contact person for employee complaints or time‑off requests.
• Mentor staff, develop employees, and encourage career advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
