Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:- Coordinate and action activities in a timely manner related to procurement to include quotation, negotiation, regulatory compliance, PO/contract placement, delivery, payment discrepancies, and action non-conformances through the debit memo process.
- Analyzes the requirements including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed.
- Solicits and evaluates end-user proposals for the requested commodity.
- Own the data integrity of the applicable commodity in the ERP system.
- Evaluates potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements and communicates to management as appropriate.
- Negotiates the lowest possible cost for the commodity balanced against the optimum quality and schedule needs.
- Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records. Assures that the commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company.

- Coordinates appropriate methods of shipping in a cost effective and timely manner.
- Implements blanket agreements and SPA/LTA’s that comply with company and Government Regulations.
- Participate in annual inventory cycle count.
- Analyzing market trends.
- Track OTD via TIPQA Quality Module.
- Conducting supplier visits as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 7 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with other employees of organization.
- Knowledge of MS Outlook; MS Excel and MS Word software.
- Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
- Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen.
- Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…)
