Our client is seeking an Onsite Inventory Representative Lead to serve as a key liaison between the company and its aerospace customer at the customer’s production site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, managing inventory and supply needs, and taking ownership of day-to-day operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift hours can be flexible. With options like: 6am
-2:30pm, 7am- 3:30pm, or 8am - 4:30pm
- Lead and mentor onsite team members while serving as a reliable company representative at the customer location.
- Maintain and replenish customer supply bins while monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential stock-outs or critical needs.
- Build strong relationships with customer administrators, functional managers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Provide timely updates to program management, sales, contracts, and finance regarding operational status, customer needs, and potential issues.
- Coordinate new and discontinued contract requirements and help identify opportunities for process improvements and additional customer value.
- Research and resolve inventory, supply, and process-related issues while maintaining accurate documentation and data.
- Monitor processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistent customer service.
- Use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, for reporting, spreadsheets, data entry, and documentation.
- Adapt to changing schedules and customer demands, including travel between customer sites when needed.
- High school diploma required; college coursework or a degree is a plus.
- At least 1 year of inventory flow experience
- Strong customer service skills with experience interacting directly with customers and suppliers.
- Previous experience serving as a company representative, liaison, or point of contact.
- Strong organizational, time-management, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a customer-facing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point ; intermediate to advanced Excel skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with Copilot or other AI productivity tools is a plus.
- Ability to travel between customer sites as needed with reliable transportation and an approved driving record.
