Order Management Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will oversee the order lifecycle from customer onboarding through fulfillment and post-sale support, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational accuracy. Success in this position requires strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage order exceptions and escalations.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Pay Rate Range: $24.00-$26.00/hr.
- Manage customer onboarding and account setup.
- Review and process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Validate, update, and maintain order information in Dynamics 365.
- Perform compliance and credit checks while maintaining documentation per company policies.
- Coordinate order status and shipment updates with vendors, suppliers, and 3PL partners.
- Provide customers with order updates, expected ship dates, and issue resolution throughout the order lifecycle.
- Process sales orders, vendor receipts, and invoicing activities.
- Manage escalations and exceptions to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Support invoicing, customer credits, and billing adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of order transactions, communications, and changes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience in order management, customer service, or operations.
- Experience in technology, equipment sales, or distribution environments preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of sales orders (SOs), purchase orders (POs), and service order workflows.
- Experience collaborating with Purchasing, Production, Shipping/Logistics, and Finance teams.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
