Assessment Consultant
Help professionals use trusted assessments with confidence, clarity, and care.
In this consultative role, you will train, support, and build relationships with customers who rely on WPS assessments and intervention resources.
The OpportunityAssessment Consultants partner with Inside Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and Customer Service to promote WPS assessments and intervention resources to clinical and educational organizations across the United States.
You will help customers understand best practices for assessment administration, interpretation, and application while building relationships that support customer success, revenue goals, and the WPS brand.
What You Will DoEducate & Support Customers
- Serve as a trusted advisor on WPS assessments
- Guide best practices for administration and interpretation
- Deliver engaging trainings, workshops, and presentations
- Support customers in schools, clinics, and professional settings
- Develop relationships with key influencers in clinical and educational markets
- Represent WPS with professionalism and integrity
- Promote WPS products and brand at conferences and meetings
- Collaborate with Marketing on strategic campaigns and lead generation
- Provide detailed customer and market feedback to internal teams
- Use CRM tools such as Net Suite and Hub Spot to track interactions
- Document trends, opportunities, and follow-up needs
- Contribute to area planning, forecasting, and strategic decisions
- Help professionals use WPS assessments accurately and effectively
- Translate product knowledge into practical customer guidance
- Build trust through responsive, consultative support
- Support area revenue targets through relationship-building
- Share field insights that improve products and services
- Represent WPS as a credible partner in the assessment community

Relevant professional qualification required, minimum master's level.
Experience administering and interpreting psychometric assessments.
Knowledge of clinical or school markets desired.
Understanding of school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and clinical psychologists is helpful.
Comfort presenting to a variety of audiences and building rapport with customers.
Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong SignalsAt least five years of experience administering and interpreting psychometric assessments.
Experience delivering customer trainings, workshops, or conference presentations.
Ability to interpret usage trends, customer feedback, and relevant clinical or educational data.
Consultative selling skills and comfort addressing customer needs, objections, and next steps.
Ability to travel as needed, up to 33% of the time, including overnight stays.
