Requirements / QualificationsBachelor's Degree Required
Must hold one of the following valid California credentials or permits:
- 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
- Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential (any subject area)
- Education Specialist Credential in Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, or ECSE
All credentials must include CLAD or English Learner Authorization Basic Skills Requirement must be met through one of the following:
- CBEST, or
- Another approved method outlined by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
- Completion of a bachelor's degree or higher may satisfy this requirement depending on coursework.
Bachelor's Degree: A transcript confirming the conferral of your bachelor's degree is required.

- Credential Copy (Credential OR 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit OR BA/MA Transcripts)
- Letter of Introduction (Letter of Introduction must be dated and signed with original ink signature (NO e-signatures accepted).)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two letters of recommendation written within the last year with original ink signature required (NO e-signatures accepted). )

- Test Results/Materials (Basic Skills Requirement (BA/MA transcripts acceptable))
