Job SummaryThe Dance Instructor plans and delivers dance instruction in various styles while developing students' technical skills, creativity, discipline, and performance abilities. The instructor prepares students for performances, competitions, and assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Teach dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Conduct rehearsals and prepare students for performances.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote physical fitness, safety, and injury prevention.
- Organize dance productions and community performances.
- Foster teamwork, confidence, and artistic expression.
- Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field.
- Professional dance training and/or certification.
- Experience in teaching or professional dance performance.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
- Dance performance and choreography
- Knowledge of multiple dance styles
- Physical fitness and movement instruction

- Excellent communication and classroom management
