The Dance Instructor plans and delivers dance instruction invarious styles whiledevelopingstudents' technical skills, creativity, discipline, and performance abilities. The instructor prepares students for performances, competitions, and assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Teach dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Conduct rehearsals and prepare students for performances.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote physical fitness, safety, and injury prevention.
- Organize dance productions and community performances.
- Foster teamwork, confidence, and artistic expression.
- Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field.
- Professional dance training and/or certification.
- Experience in teachingor professional dance performance.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
- Dance performance and choreography
- Knowledge of multiple dance styles
