AboutThe Role
We’re seeking a Director of Product and Test Engineering to lead the transition of our hardware platforms from validated prototypes to scalable, production‑ready products. This role spans silicon (IVR). Secondarily, an applicability of skill sets will be applied towards system‑level hardware targeting next generational power solutions. You’ll own the path from lab to fab—including qualification, manufacturability, integration, and deployment—and work cross‑functionally to drive programs from early pilot to volume rollout.
WhatYou Will Do
- Lead the product development and NPI lifecycle across both IVR and Power hardware platforms.
- Coordinate DFx, qualification, and test strategy for silicon and system‑level builds.
- Build structured handoff processes from engineering to manufacturing: BOMs, specs, validation plans, and release documentation.
- Oversee early builds, customer samples, and production ramps across internal and external partners.
- Manage relationships with foundries, OSATs, board manufacturers, and contract manufacturers.
- Drive execution across manufacturing readiness, test infrastructure, and supply chain coordination.
- Ensure operational alignment with go‑to‑market, customer integration, and support teams.
- 10+ years in the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record in product development, hardware productization or manufacturing.
- Deep experience with both silicon (semiconductor) and system‑level hardware.
- Proven track record of taking hardware from prototypes to volume production.
- Experience leading cross‑functional hardware programs and driving product launches.
- Experience in semiconductor technology development, system integration, and technology scouting.
- Experience in prototyping, productization, and validation of semiconductor systems.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management and risk mitigation strategies.
- Expertise in scaling test infrastructure, supply chain coordination, and managing pilot to production ramp‑ups.
- Strong leadership in building and scaling manufacturing readiness processes.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, supply chain, GTM (go‑to‑market), and customer integration teams.
- Ability to lead and communicate across internal teams and external partners.
- Career track opportunity with potential for rapid advancement with strong performance as the firm grows.
- 100% employer‑paid, comprehensive health care including medical, dental, and vision for you and your family.
- Paid maternity and paternity for 14 weeks at employees' normal pay.
- Unlimited PTO, with management approval.
- Opportunities for professional development and continued learning.
- Optional 401(k), FSA, and equity incentives available.
$200,000–$240,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
