Lead Project Engineer

Overview

As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. You will report directly to our Engineering Program Manager and you will work out of our Torrance California location on a Hybrid work schedule.

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

US PERSON REQUIREMENT

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

• YOU MUST HAVE
• BS EE, BS ME, Systems Engineering, Control Systems, Project Engineering, or a similar engineering degree
• Minimum of 15 years experience in project engineering or systems engineering
• Project engineering experience estimating, planning, scheduling, and implementing budget control for engineering work.

Lead Project Engineer (Finance)

This position includes responsibilities described above, with emphasis on coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering engineering projects on time and within budget. The job location is Torrance, California, with a hybrid work schedule.

The annual base salary range for this position in the state of California is $164,000 – $206,000. This range is a general guideline;
Honeywell considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, experience, education, and market conditions when extending offers. This position is incentive plan eligible.
