Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and constructing electrical systems across educational, residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. A strong understanding of building code analysis and interpretation is essential.
- Manage projects and client interactions effectively.
- Prepare CAD/REVIT generated construction drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering staff and other personnel to identify and resolve issues.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines while working directly with clients.
- Serve as a quality assurance/quality control resource.
- Meet with clients to coordinate electrical systems with other project elements.
- Manage multiple projects to successful completion.
- 10+ years of experience in designing lighting and lighting control, electrical distribution, fire alarm, and standby generator systems.
- Ability to identify applicable codes in project-specific jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Revit preferred.
- Experience with industry-standard software, including Microsoft products, AGi
32, and Energy Pro. - Basic knowledge of all disciplines regarding their general requirements for standard types of projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines through completion.
- Monitor timely response for electrical RFIs and Shop Drawing reviews.
- Mentor staff effectively.
- Monitor progress of projects and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Civil 3D, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, QSD/QSP qualification.
- Professional engineering license in Civil Engineering.
- Plumbing design experience.
- Mechanical, HVAC design expertise.
- Revit MEP experience.
- Mechanical engineering and design skills.

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr. BREEN offers a competitive benefits package.
