We are seeking an Application Engineer to join our fast-growing, collaborative team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a high-growth, innovative environment, contributing directly to technologies that are shaping the future of power electronics.
- Support high‑voltage semiconductor testing and characterization of SiC MOSFET devices, including DPT, SOA, basic short‑circuit and ruggedness testing.
- Assist in designing power electronics schematics and PCB layouts for evaluation boards and test hardware, with focus on proper isolation, creepage/clearance, and measurement accuracy.
- Build, bring up, and validate EVAL boards for internal testing and customer demonstrations.
- Run device‑level and system‑level simulations using tools such as PLECS and SIMetrix.
- Perform hands‑on lab work, including measurements with oscilloscopes, probes, power analyzers, and electronic loads.
- Support development of application notes, test reports, and internal documentation.
- Provide technical support to FAEs and internal teams as part of customer enablement activities.
- Collaborate with R&D, product marketing, quality, and operations teams on customer programs and product development.
- 2+ years of experience in power electronics, semiconductor applications, or related lab work.
- Solid understanding of SiC MOSFETs, gate drivers, and isolation techniques.
- Familiarity with power electronics schematics and PCB layout concepts.
- Exposure to power topologies such as PFC, LLC, DAB, or DC/DC converters is a plus.
- Working knowledge of PLECS and/or SIMetrix for power converter simulations.
- Hands‑on experience in a power electronics lab environment is preferred.
- Willingness to learn high‑voltage testing practices and safety procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in high-voltage power electronics and semiconductor applications
- Proven experience in high-voltage semiconductor testing and characterization
- Strong knowledge of power electronics topologies used in server and AI data center power systems.
