Job Summary

* We are looking for a talented and creative Systems Engineer with strong experience in microwave and wireless design to lead projects and deliver world-class systems to our customers.

* The Systems Engineer plays an essential role in the process of understanding customer needs, translating them into requirements, and formulating affordable solutions. The Systems Engineer works closely with the customer, the Business Office, and the Engineering staff to create the solution with the best value for the customer. The Systems Engineer needs to have capabilities across technical, marketing, and business areas.

* The successful candidate will be required to coordinate multi-disciplined teams of engineers in a consolidated effort to successfully deliver systems for microwave measurement of various test items, such as antennas used in radar, communications, satellite data transfer, and other applications.

* This position may require approximately 10% domestic and international travel.

Must Have

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience designing RF systems (RF measurement systems or RF antennas specifically highly preferred)

* Experience in the aerospace, defense, and/or aviation industries

* To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

* Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

* Ability to merge diverse specifications in RF/Microwave measurements with a detailed understanding of mechanical design processes to deliver complex system solutions

* Ability to apply hands-on electronic/mechanical system implementation skills in lab, factory, and site environments

* Significant experience with system design and analysis

* Experience with proposals and customer interactions

* RF system design, specification development and interpretation, microwave communications

* Hands-on experience with antenna test ranges

* Knowledge of mechanical positioning systems

* Familiarity with MATLAB, GRASP, HFSS and other industry analytical tools

Work Environment

Work involves collaboration with various departments to develop solutions. The role includes hands-on work in lab, factory, and site environments. Approximately 15% domestic travel may be required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
