Stellant is excited to offer an Manufacturing Engineering role in support of Electronic Power Conditioner (EPC) assembly and test at our Torrance facility. Specifically, this role will focus on Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), Surface Mount Technology (SMT) applications and the intricacies that go into building a PCBAs and completed high voltage EPC for Space applications. Stellant’s industry leading EPCs have supported space borne communications for greater than 3 decades, with over 4700 units in orbit and 290 million operating hours.

The role may also support terrestrial applications (RF communications, electronic warfare and radar) in our Microwave Power Modules (MPMs). Combining our Space heritage and terrestrial usage, Stellant’s EPC / MPM design, development and manufacturing areas provide a rewarding workplace for talented engineers to lay their mark. Outside of PCBA specific items, responsibilities will also include providing technical guidance on the manufacturing floor, supporting investigations with a multidisciplinary group of engineers, communicating with vendors in support of production or development and providing customer support as needed.

Beyond EPC specific work, the role will may also support integration and testing of completed traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs) and MPMs.
