Role Summary The well qualified candidate will be responsible for technical program management of in-house development of Electric Power Conversion (EPC) Top Level Assembly. Responsibilities Project management of EPC top level assembly development and integration into the vehicle environment.
Create high level timeline and milestones for tracking critical release dates, MRD's, validation plans, and support of industrialization. Detailed Management of component timelines from concept to delivery. Ensuring component BOMs are released and sourced. Tracking long lead part and tool order needs and collaborating with supply chain on due dates and status throughout the development. Support prototype builds and production start-up ensuring any build issues get resolved with prompt attention.
Coordinating, Tracking and Reporting of Design Validation and Process Validation activities Prompt and effective communication of status and actions to the Product Delivery team to execute and succeed. Co-develop and track EPC material, test, and validation budgets. Issue tracking, corrective action implementations using JIRA and other tools Interfacing effectively with Cross-Functional teams (i.e. Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain), and providing cohesion where needed.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology field or related work experience Familiarity with rotating machines, Electric motors, or Inverters is required. 8+ years automotive experience in program management. Understanding of automotive engineering release processes. Good knowledge of program management process and vehicle development timeline tools (e.g. Smartsheet). Experience creating and implementing new program management processes. Ability to work and communicate with cross functional teams.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects. Pay Disclosure The salary range for this role is $154,000 - $192,000 for Irvine, CA based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
