Mechanical​/Test Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering and testing organization, is seeking a Mechanical/Test Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical/Test Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering & Test Systems Department supporting cross-functional engineering and project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, project management capabilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical/Test Systems Engineer
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid - 2525 West 190th Street, Torrance, CA 90504, United States; 3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Pay Range: $70/hr
What's the Job?

• Design and support mechanical and test facility systems for aerospace applications (pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, turbo machinery, etc.)
• Define, document, and analyze testing for products, systems, and components
• Interpret test results, identify issues, and recommend solutions
• Lead or support project engineering activities and coordinate across teams
• Provide progress reports and contribute to quality control and reliability programs

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing mechanical or test systems
• Minimum 4 years of project engineering or project management experience
• Experience with test environments involving fluid systems, heat exchangers, or turbo machinery
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret test data and solve technical problems
