Test Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer for a 7+ months contract with a client located in Torrance CA

Pay Range: $65/hr.

- $70.00/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.

Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.

Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.

May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of technical experience transferable to designing mechanical and test facility systems required to test pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, heat exchangers, high-speed turbo‑machinery components or systems
• Minimum 4 years of Project Engineering or Project Management experience.
