Electronics Test Technician
Intellisense Systems, Inc. is a fast-growing Southern California technology innovator that solves tough, mission-critical challenges for our customers in the aerospace, defense, and commercial markets. We design, develop, and manufacture advanced products for ground, maritime, and airborne applications. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electronics Test Technician to join our Operations Department. The successful candidate will have electronics and mechanical manufacturing experience.
They will be proficient in operating & supporting test systems and test equipment to verify the performance of integrated electro/opto/mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform board level and system level programming and testing using automated test fixtures.
- Perform optical alignment and testing.
- Operate environmental stress screening (ESS) chambers through highly accelerated life testing (HALT)
- Capture and document test data as part of production automated test procedures (ATP) and product traveler documentation.
- Analyze test data in-situ and root cause test issues.
- Work with engineers and manufacturing technicians to improve test procedures and fixtures.
- Perform product assembly as needed, including soldering, potting, and mechanical assembly.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years' experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience with operation of automated test fixtures, printed circuit board assembly and testing, cable harness production, ESD control, and handling optical components are a plus
- Associate's degree in a technical or related discipline is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent technical report writing skills
- Basic electrical circuit and mechanical design knowledge sufficient for understanding of test fixtures including basic wiring and computer interfacing
- Must be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability, and professional development
- LabVIEW or ESS programming experience is a plus
- Current IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 solder certification is a plus

Pay Range: $25-35hr. (Base salary for this position will vary based on your skills, qualifications, and experience)
