OverviewAs the Engineering Intern, you’ll be at the intersection of design, production, and quality. You won’t just observe—you’ll contribute directly to the processes that ensure our components meet the highest performance standards. Your work will help accelerate production timelines, improve product reliability, and support the launch of new, cutting‑edge electronics. You’ll work with a variety of experienced professionals in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and other areas.
Responsibilities- Create, revise, and review drawings and 3D CAD models (utilizing Solid Works).
- Actively participate in manufacturing process optimization, including proposing, validating, and documenting process improvements.
- Implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automate data processing repetitive tasks across multiple business processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain—to troubleshoot production challenges.
- Assist in design and validation of test and manufacturing fixtures.
- Assist in validation testing, including data analysis and test report generation.
- Gain hands‑on experience with a variety of manufacturing processes like brazing and welding, soldering, cobot systems, and automated test systems.
- Present progress on project to key personnel and management.
- Currently enrolled as a junior or higher and pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering, GPA 3.0 minimum at an accredited college or university.
- PC, Office software suites, 3D modeling software (Solid Works preferred), precision hand tools.
- Knowledge and/or experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not required but is a plus.
