Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily banking functions and reconciliations for stores, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Investigate cash variances and collaborate with the Loss Prevention team to resolve discrepancies.
- Process weekly uploads of bank statements into Oracle and manage AP payment reconciliations.
- Handle month-end closing tasks, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly turnover reports, gift voucher liability reconciliations, and cash clearing account reconciliations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Prior experience with Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for collaboration across teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data and generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
- A strong understanding of core accounting principles, including bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Have the ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines in a high-volume work environment.
- Must be flexible and adaptable with a growth mindset, continuously seeking improvement.
- Be a supportive and team-oriented, willing to assist peers in achieving department goals.
- Must be friendly, approachable, and capable of building strong working relationships across departments.
