We are currently seeking an experienced and patient-focused Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) or Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Interventional Radiology experience to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role places a strong emphasis on direct patient treatment, procedural support, and collaboration with physicians during minimally invasive interventional procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident in a fast-paced procedural environment, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Job Duties
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, including vascular and non-vascular treatments.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to provide real-time imaging guidance during direct treatment procedures.
- Scrub and circulate during interventional procedures as required by department protocols.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety practices, sterile technique, and infection control standards.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Prepare contrast media, supplies, and equipment needed for interventional cases.
- Accurately document procedures, patient care, and imaging data in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Perform equipment quality control checks and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training related to interventional radiology practices and technology advancements.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in Interventional Radiology or as an RT with hands-on IR experience in a hospital or acute care setting
