Part of a centralized refill specialist team in a multi-specialty ambulatory care medical group. Under the direct supervision of a licensed provider, responsible for processing prescription phone, fax or electronic refill requests by entering requests into the electronic medical record system for approval. Answers and responds to telephone calls and inquiries. Documents all communications in a timely manner using approved documentations language and standards.
Contacts patients and schedules appointments as necessary. Provides excellent customer service to patients, pharmacy personnel, clinical staff, and providers.
