Position: HR Operations Manager (Korean Bilingual)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead end-to-end HR operations and supervise a team of 2–4 members. This role is responsible for payroll, benefits, HRIS optimization, compliance, and HR financial reporting while serving as a key liaison between headquarters and regional teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, systems-driven, and highly knowledgeable in U.S. labor laws and multi-state HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full employee lifecycle (onboarding through offboarding)
  • Supervise and mentor HR team members to drive operational excellence
  • Partner with department leaders to provide HR guidance and best practices
Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance using ADP Workforce Now
  • Manage benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), workers’ compensation)
  • Lead annual insurance renewals and payroll tax compliance
HRIS & Compliance
  • Drive HRIS implementation and system optimization
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and multi-jurisdictional employment laws
  • Maintain accurate employee records and oversee audits
Financial & Reporting
  • Lead month-end HR-related financial closings and reconciliations
  • Support compensation analysis and workforce reporting
  • Coordinate HR financial reporting with Accounting/Finance teams
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Korean/English bilingual (professional proficiency)
  • 5–7 years of HR Operations experience
  • Direct experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws (federal & multi-state)
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced functions)
  • Strong PowerPoint and reporting capabilities

Preferred:

  • Background in accounting or financial operations
  • Experience in HR systems implementation
