Privacy Compliance QA Analyst
Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Privacy Compliance QA Analyst with a leading automotive organization. Our client is enhancing its digital ecosystem to ensure customer-facing websites and technology solutions align with evolving privacy regulations and compliance requirements. This role will support testing initiatives focused on consent management, data privacy controls, regulatory compliance validation, and overall website quality assurance.
Must-Have Qualifications- 3–6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, or compliance-related testing roles
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test strategies for web-based applications
- Knowledge of privacy and compliance regulations, including CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, AADC, ADA, or similar frameworks
- Experience performing functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle, defect management, and QA best practices
- Experience validating data integrity, accuracy, and handling of sensitive or personal information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience testing privacy-related systems, including consent management platforms and data subject rights workflows
- Familiarity with QA tools and defect tracking systems
- Experience with SQL and data validation techniques
- Knowledge of data governance, risk management, or information security practices
- Exposure to privacy management solutions such as One Trust or similar platforms
- Experience supporting compliance audits or regulatory readiness initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to identify compliance risks, testing gaps, and process improvement opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
- Effective stakeholder management across Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Business, and IT teams
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within cross-functional teams
Location:
South Bay, CA
Onsite expectation:
Onsite 4 days per week
Pay range: $35-56.56/hour
