Probate Paralegal Full Time for Small Firm in Torrance, CA

- Prepare and file probate petitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements.
- Coordinate and manage the collection and distribution of estate assets, maintaining clear communication with all parties involved.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and discovery, to support attorneys in litigation processes.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries to foster trust and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and timelines, ensuring efficient progression of cases.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide insights into relevant legal precedents and statutes.
- An ABA-approved paralegal certification.
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, Clio), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently, as well as effectively within a team.
- Ability to synthesize information to prioritize and organize tasks.
- Ability to work in the office five days per week.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism.

- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials; relevant work experience a plus.
- Ability to take ownership of discrete projects and be able to work without direct supervision.
- Available to work overtime.
- Experience working in estate, probate, and/or litigation is preferred.
- Typing speed of 65wpm+.
$47,840 - $70,000 per year
