Saraly: $60,000–$72,000 Annually DOE

The Operations & Logistics Coordinator is a cross-functional role responsible for supporting daily business operations, with a primary focus on procurement, logistics, inventory management, and order processing. This position ensures accurate and efficient execution of both domestic and international operational activities.

The role works closely with internal teams, headquarters in Japan, customers, vendors, warehouses, and logistics partners, providing direct exposure to international operations and global supply chain coordination.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and

Job Description Procurement, Logistics & Inventory (Primary Responsibilities)
  • Support import/export operations and triangular trade activities
  • Perform purchasing data entry and procurement support for B2B and B2C operations
  • Record and manage purchasing quantities and cost information
  • Coordinate domestic logistics, shipping, and delivery
  • Support inventory management with internal warehouses and 3PL partners
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and warehouse partners to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipping arrangements
  • Provide sales support for wholesale representatives
  • Handle B2C customer inquiries and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Assist with preparing customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate order and shipment records
Systems & Data Management
  • Perform SAP postings, voucher entries, and transaction processing
  • Register and update product master data
  • Review and correct operational and inventory data
  • Generate reports and support data management activities
Accounting & Payment Support
  • Assist with payment processing
  • Support credit card reconciliation for B2B operations
  • Coordinate with accounting and operations teams regarding invoices and documentation
Marketing & General Business Support
  • Conduct market research and gather competitive information
  • Support trade show preparation and coordination
  • Provide field support for marketing and research activities
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree or higher in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of logistics operations experience in the U.S. supply chain or logistics industry
  • Practical experience in import/export operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Business-level Japanese/ English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Understanding of order processing, logistics, and inventory management
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Valid authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to work full-time onsite
  • Ability to travel domestically several times per year
