Assembly Mechanic - Level 2

Job summary:
Assemble, test, and ensure the quality of aerospace components and systems. Report directly to Production Supervisor.
- Assemble aerospace components and subassemblies according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure product compliance with standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols.
Annual base salary range: $49,500.00 - $74,300.00.
U.S. person requirement:
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions must submit to a pre-employment drug test covering Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, PCP, and Opioids. Employees are included in Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
YOU MUST HAVE- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment used in mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety standards in manufacturing.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools with attention to detail and precision.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- 2+ years of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, preferably in aerospace.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in a shift-based work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed instructions.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components.
