Since 1984, Jessie Lord Bakery has been baking some of the freshest, flakiest homestyle pies in the country. We take great pride in sourcing the high-quality ingredients that go into our pies, from the rich California dairy and eggs that make our cream and meringue pies so luscious, to the perfectly‑ripe apples, peaches, cherries, and berries that we mix into our fruit pie fillings.

We pay close attention to every detail of the pie production process, from rolling to crimping, filling to baking, and we’re sticklers for quality control, especially the taste‑testing part. Marrying old‑fashioned technique and modern methods, we craft our from‑scratch bakery pies with the same care as the ones we bake at home for our family, so that our pies are both deliciously authentic and affordable for your customers.

We offer complete lines of both frozen, unbaked and pre‑baked, thaw and sell pies in sizes ranging from 6” to 12” that offer convenience to your in‑store bakery. We’re also happy to work with you on private labeling and packaging, as well as fun new custom pie varieties unique to your brand.

Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas. Maintain inventory, perform cycle counts, and provide production with all required materials.

• Responsible for safely transporting dry/frozen ingredients or finished goods to in and about the warehouse/freezer area
• Manually offload containers of product onto a pallet
• Transports material and/or product to and from designated areas in the facility
• Loading and unloading goods from trucks according to the pick/delivery schedule
• Inspect trucks for cleanliness prior to the loading or unloading of product
• Responsible for verifying that all deliveries come with a COA
• Monitor and ensure that all deliveries of sugar and flour are placed in the accurate silo/container
• Sorts and moves product according to First in First Out (FIFO) rule
• Ensures that product/ingredients are readily available to supply R&D, Q.A., Production and/or Customer Service with samples
• Stacking and sorting empty and broken pallets; both freezer and dry warehouse pallets
• Assist with conducting daily cycle counts as needed
• Conducts daily forklift inspections
• Ensure that the warehouse area is well organized and clean
• Assist with various warehouse duties as needed

• Warehouse storage procedures and inventory control including stock rotation, allergen separation, and label control procedures
• All employees are required to immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food safety issues they observe to their supervisor
• Monitors and enforces cGMPs within the warehouse department
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre‑requisite programs

• High school diploma, equivalent or higher
• Forklift certified on Stand up/training
• Operate rider pallet jacks
• Ability to frequently convert weight measurements

• Ability to occasionally withstand a –20°F freezer environment
• Able to frequently lift 30–50 lbs.
• Ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and climb
• Able to follow proper footwear
• Must be able to work in a loud environment with appropriate hearing protection

Warehouse Supervisor

$19.75 per hour
