As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 here at Honeywell
, you will play a vital role in assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of aerospace components and systems. Your hands‑on expertise will contribute to the production of high‑quality products that meet stringent aerospace standards.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On‑site schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our aerospace manufacturing operations by assembling mechanical and electrical components with precision and care, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Assemble aerospace components and subassemblies according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure product compliance with standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols.
The annual base salary range for this position is $49,500.00 – $74,300.00. This figure serves as a general guideline;

The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety‑sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti‑drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment used in mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety standards in manufacturing.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools with attention to detail and precision.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- 2+ years of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, preferably in aerospace.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in a shift‑based work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed instructions.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components.
