In this role, you will impact the overall productivity and quality of our manufacturing operations by applying your expertise in machining techniques and equipment operation, helping Honeywell deliver superior products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and program CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform setup, calibration, and adjustments on machinery to maintain optimal performance and quality output.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making necessary corrections to meet standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve machining issues.
- Proven experience as a skilled machinist with advanced knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials to produce high-quality parts.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Familiarity with machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation.
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a machining role within a manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a machine shop setting.
