We’re looking for a Production Processing Assistant to bring their passion, precision, and problem-solving skills to our team in Carson, CA

• You will come to understand the life cycle of parts from donor stage to a finished good and will assist with overall part flow from suppliers and internal resources by preparing work orders and managing production lots.
• Your goal is to ensure smooth and efficient production operations for the downstream value chain in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.”

• Disassembles, cleans, and assembles parts to prepare for outside processing
• Coordinates and assists outside processing part movement and staging under direction from the Lead
• Works closely with disassembly vendor to ensure timely flow of donor parts
• Creates and updates work instructions related to preparing parts for outside processing
• Analyzes and tests parts for quality conformity according to the Engineering Department’s SOP
• Manages inventory levels within MRP and transactions for inventory moves

• The desired candidate is an effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask, follow work instructions, and be adaptable.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of related work experience with automotive parts and/or working in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding and use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Bonus points if you have technical training in the automotive industry and/or familiarity with Porsche vehicles (early models)

This position is onsite in Carson, CA and the schedule is Monday – Friday 5am – 1:30 with overtime as needed.

The starting salary range for this position is between $20
-28 per hour
. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
