Senior Logistics Technician (level IV) to join them. You will report to our Inventory Control & Shipping Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA.

be considered for the Senior Logistics Technician role (level IV),here's what you'll need to bring with you:

Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 4 years or more experience with Material Handling Logistics experience
Experience with Process RTV
Experience with Review/understand rework dispositions
Experience with Create rework WO
Experience with Research and reconcile variances
Experience with Reworks (NC Tip QA process)
Experience with Processing inbound and outbound material
Experience with moving materials physically and systematically
Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

It would be great if you also had:

Working experience in aerospace industry or strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
Experience with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification)
Experience with HAZMAT
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in cross functional teams to tight deadlines and often under pressure

As aSenior Logistics Technician, you will:

Develop and initiate process improvements within or outside of the team by leading and participating. Able to perform to Logistics operations in Stockroom, RUR, Shipping, Steel Stores or Dispatch)
Develop and initiate process improvements within or outside of the team by leading and participating.
Positive influence on other team members.
Backup for Coordinator or Supervisor.
Conduct training for others on roles and responsibilities across team.
Take ownership for team performance and collaborate cross functionally with others to achieve company initiatives.
Maintain and utilize various logistics programs, as well as basic communication software including email and messaging.
Ensure proper labeling and packaging to comply with contractual requirements, appropriate documentation completion before and after shipments.
Communicate and interact with personnel from all departments.
Per written and/or verbal instructions; includes coordination and scheduling delivery with trucking companies.
Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
Perform cycle count audits
May operate fork trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
May operate packaging tools and machinery such as a bag sealer, nail gun, table saw, and radial arm saw.
Maintain traceability of materials, including verifying that material matches vendor documentation and marking materials with trace numbers.
Timely and efficient movement of work in process and error-free entry of all related transactions.
Provide administrative and technical support as needed.
This role may require that the Logistics Technician be on your feet constantly and be able to lift materials and containers up to 35 pounds regularly. For materials of greater weight, you will have access to numerous lifting devices to assist, with some…
