Our client is an established, privately held distributor specializing in high-reliability electrical insulation, cable management, and related products. The company has been in business for more than 70 years and supports customers across highly regulated and quality-driven industries, including aerospace, medical device, electronics, automotive, energy, and other manufacturing sectors.
They are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join their Cut & Mark production department in Torrance, CA.
What You'll DoThe Machine Operator will operate plastic tubing cutting and marking equipment while ensuring finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Read and follow job specifications, work instructions, purchase orders, and drawings
Set up machines and jobs according to drawings and production requirements
Operate plastic tube cutting and marking equipment
Perform type setting and machine adjustments
Measure materials and finished parts using rulers, scales, and calipers
Position materials and work pieces correctly in fixtures or against machine guides
Continuously inspect finished products for accuracy, positioning, clarity, length, and overall quality
Perform basic machine setup and routine maintenance, including oiling machines, dies, and work pieces
Use computers to create labels and enter timekeeping information
Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow established safety procedures at all times
