Travel Nurse Source  is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Torrance, California, 90501.

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-volume acute care setting. This role requires strong clinical expertise in managing both low- and high-risk labor patients, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide care across Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and high-risk labor cases
• Circulate and recover C-sections and postpartum procedures (including D&C)
• Perform and interpret fetal monitoring
• Support care for patients with complex conditions (HTN, diabetes, multiple system disorders)
• Provide newborn care and support baby-friendly practices
• Conduct non-stress tests (NSTs) and assist in delivery setup
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Float to Mother/Baby unit as required

• Monthly Deliveries: 210–240 births
• Beds: 21 |
  Rooms: 22
• Floating: Required (Mother/Baby; may float to nearby affiliated unit)
• Weekend Requirement: Required (based on contract needs)

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• AWHONN Advanced Certification – REQUIRED (C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced)
• Epic charting experience – REQUIRED
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
